General Lesson Information:
- Private lessons
- English/hunt seat riding
- Children may start as young as age 4.
- Lessons are taught year round, rain or shine. However, the instructor reserves the right to reschedule for reasons such as: illness, inclement weather, or sick/injured horses.
- All students must wear long pants and a closed toe shoe. Boots are strongly encouraged.
- Helmets are required and can be provided.
- If our instructor is running late for your appointment, you will receive your 30 minute lesson as soon as possible. Equipment problems, sick horses, weather conditions, etc can contribute to delays around the barn. If you are running late, your instructor reserves the right to shorten your lesson by as many minutes as you were running late. Most of the time, we can accommodate someone running a few minutes late.
- If you are running late or cannot make your scheduled lesson, please call to cancel & reschedule or you may be charged for your missed lesson.
Students under the age of 6:
10 – 15 minutes grooming & safety, 15 - 20 minutes riding
Students over the age of 7:
30 minutes riding
Students are strongly encouraged to arrive 10-15 minutes prior to the start
of their lesson if they would like to groom & tack their horse. This also
ensures that all lessons start on time.
Effective February 1st 2017, lesson prices are as follows:
(1) 30 minute lesson: $25
(1) 45 minute (advanced) lesson: $35
(1) 20 minute showmanship/leading lesson: $20
